"12 Days of Christmas" - HR Version

On the first day of Christmas, our boss gave to me, a budget, our old decorations and our old Christmas tree.
On the 2nd day of Christmas, our committee gave to me, a plan and a request for a new tree.
On the third day of Christmas, my boss said to me, "let's take that to the owners, the request for a new tree."
On the fourth day of Christmas, the owners said to me, "let's skip the departments decorating budget and spend it on appropriate decorations for the reception area and a new tree."
On the fifth day of Christmas, the committee said to me, "what, no gold rings for decorating and now they want only budget for reception area and new tree?"
By the sixth day of Christmas, the committee was sad, HR had "had it", planned the afternoon off and said "I'll go get the tree." Management didn't send any ideas to the committee about "appropriate decorations", but two managers sent a question "why are we spending the mon-ey?"
On the seventh day of Christmas, the holiday committee distributed old decorations and brought in the new tree. The mood had changed some, but we still distributed the fun wreath decorating idea to each employee.
On the eighth day of Christmas, the committee started decorating. It was easy to see, that each was a busy Santa bee.
On the ninth day of Christmas, the decorations started falling down. But the committee enthusiastically said, "let's put them back up without a frown."
On the 10th day of Christmas, the meat and cheese trays and vegetables were delivered around the town. Santa's elves were busy, but again, without a frown!
On the 11th day of Christmas, employees received company gifts. Santa's elves had shopped perfectly and we hoped no one was miffed.
On the 12th day of Christmas, it was time to rest. The committee was tired, but they had done their best. Hopefully next year's committee will have improved communication from management. It's up to them now, this "case" rests!
