Santas Undergo Background Checks

It says: "Pre-employ.com specializes in background checks for job applicants. It found that about 70 of 1,000 shopping mall Santa and Santa helper applicants had committed misdemeanors or felonies in the last seven years. The offenses included indecent exposure, soliciting prostitution and drunken driving."

Yikes! My local mall better be checking backgrounds for Clause, his wife, AND his elves!! Sounds like the North Pole is a rather loose community!

God's honest truth! This morning's national radio news on the way to work had this story: A mall Santa found himself in a bit of a dilemma when during a break, someone stole his red suit pants with his billfold in the pocket. The billfold contained $250.00. He was however 'rescued' by one of the stores who provided him with a pair of red warmup bottoms." End of story. I'm wondering what in the H___ he was doing on break with his pants off in the first place. I just can't think of a reasonable explanation for that one.

I'm reading this laughing because I heard the same story this morning and never even wondered why he had his pants off.

Sounded like this guy "needed" a background check done. It would be in interesting to see what kind of background he had!

One Christmas in High School I worked at the mall with the Santa's and there was only one Santa that I would have put my kid (if I had one) his lap. All the other ones were really, really creepy.
