Attendance and Corrective Action Policies

Hi,
I am new to the forum and hoping that someone is willing to share their policies on attendance and corrective action. I have updated our policies from Absenteeism/Tardiness to Attendance and Disciplinary Action to Correction Action and I was wondering what other HR folks were doing.

Basically, we have a point system with 1 point for a whole day absence (4 hours or more) and 1/2 point for under 4 hours (lates and leave earlies). Each incident stays on record for one year. There are three levels - 1st, 2nd and Final Warning, which includes a 2-day unpaid suspension.
