Domestic Abuse Policy

Kansas passed a Domestic Abuse bill that went into effect 07/01/06. The Governor signed off on this bill allowing workers time off for various events resulting from domestic abuse, including the right to have at lease 8 days of unpaid leave per calendar year without any retaliatory or adverse action against the employee. Does anyone have a policy in place dealing with time off as a result of domestice abuse that you would like to share?
