Company Retreat Policy

Greetings all:

I've been ask to draft a Company Retreat Policy for employees who are requested to attend the all expenses paid Company Retreat in Cozumel, Mexico. During this retreat the employees and management will discuss plans for growth and profitability.

When ask to draft this policy I was ask to cover the specific areas of employee conduct, compliance with local & international laws, weapons, alcohol usage, drugs, sexual misconduct, passport and visas to mention a few.

After several years in this area, I have never seen or heard of such a policy. Maybe I've just been sheltered.

At any rate, if anyone has a Company Retreat Policy they would be willing to share I would deeply appreciate your sharing it with me.

Sorry I don't have a Company Retreat Policy to share, but do you have any job openings you need to fill before the Cozumel trip? x:-)

Do you have an employee handbook or policy manual? If you do, I would guess most, if not all, of the items you mentioned are already discussed in the handbook. If not, I might just be inclined to draft a memo to the attendees indicating the planned itineraries, meeting times, etc. and also include a brief statement regarding the expectations of the company as it relates to proper conduct and behavior while on the retreat, especially being in a foreign country. Keep it rather short and to the point.
