Cooperating with Investigations in the Workplace

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 10-28-03 AT 10:10AM (CST)[/font][p]I am writing a policy that will require employees to cooperate with work-related investigations. Does anyone else currently require this and what problems might I encounter?

  • I've worked at several companies that had (and exercised) the following policy: "The impeding of or failure to participate in an ongoing company investigation is a terminating offense." Of course this won't work if you have a union. The problems you can expect are those you anticipate.....people who won't cooperate.
