Reduction in Force Checklist

Does anyone have a reduction-in-force or layoff checklist that they have shared with either their HR department or with managers and supervisors? I would also be interested in knowing what websites or resources you found helpful when you first began the reduction-in-force process at your company. Thank you.

    If you're an Employment Law Letter subscriber, you have access to a very useful, step-by-step HR Special Report on workforce reductions. Log in on the home page, then scroll down the Special Report list and click on "workforce reduction." The HR Special Report titled "How to Avoid Legal Traps in Workforce Reduction" should appear on your screen. The table of contents could serve as a good checklist. Let me know if you have any trouble locating the report. tk
