Internship

We are contemplating bringing in an intern for the summer. Is there any thought on how to treat this? We would be paying her a minimum rate and would rather treat this on a contract basis. Could you recommend or provide me with any language for this contract?

I usually rely on the contract info that is provided by the college or university. Ofetntimes, there are obligations to be met by everyone involved, the student, supervisor, and professor. Ask your intern what guidelines were provided to him/her from the school.

If it's only going to cover the summer months, another thought is to hire her through a temporary agency.
