Does anyone have any job descriptions for the following positions (or similar positions)? If so, please email to woodwardld@owensboro.org or fax to Danielle at 270-687-8548. If possible, I'd also like to know what your pay ranges are (minimum and maximum). Thanks.
Broadcast Journalism tech? (Not sure what we're going to call it yet) -- Basically, this will be a temporary part time position, excellent for students majoring in broadcast journalism or people interested in that field. This position is responsible for drafting script, appearing on-screen, and narrating the script/conducting interviews on screen, for city government videos that will appear on our government access channel. For example, we might have videos on road or building construction (how projects are progressing along), or how to properly set your trash out for pick-up, or whatever.

This person reports directly to the Personnel Director, and is responsible for managing and overseeing that OSHA and DOT requirements are met, plus it involves overseeing and managing the following programs: workers comp, health insurance (and other supplemental insurances), drug/alcohol testing, wellness, annual health fair and benefit enrollment, and all safety and occupational health programs, etc.
Network Systems Technician. Analyzes computer networks providing system capabilities required for projected work loads, and plans layout and installation of new network system, or modifications of existing systems.
Transit Manager. Oversees Transit Department.
Systems Analyst/Programmers. Creates, maintains, and enhances computer systems for all departments. Analyzes, develops, implements, and maintains complex computer-based application systems and programs.
