Has anyone outsourced the creation of handbooks, policy manuals, etc.? Could I get an idea on cost or recommended companies to look to?

    You can locate some locally in the yellow pages under 'employment consultants'or Human Resources Consultants. The sky is the limit on cost as soon as you tell them you have manual outsourcing in your budget. Perhaps this site will offer better ideas and prices.

    Because HR departments are stretched to the limit, a lot of companies outsource creating a handbook and/or policy manual. My company has done handbooks and policy/procedure manuals for several companies in various different business segments. The pricing depends upon how you want the project done. I'll be glad to suggest some things you will want to consider and ask about with anyone you speak to about doing this as well as give you a cost for having my company create these documents for you.
