Is there a good resource for job descriptions today and exactly what is required (I.e. minimum requirements, physical requirements, environmental/working conditions, FLSA, ADA, etc.)?

    If you are a member of the Society for Human Resource Management ([url]www.shrm.org[/url]) there are a couple of very good White Papers on the subject of developing job descriptions at their website.

    The answer to your question about required contents would vary based upon the intended use of the Job Description. What you would want to include for purely compensation purposes would differ from your needs for recruiting and promotion.
