Pay on Weekends

Quick question here - our business is moving, and we are going to have employees come in past business hours to assist in the move. Specifically, they will be working late Saturday night and most of the day Sunday.

Our business is completely closed on Sunday, and on Saturday closes around 9pm.

Are we required to provide any compensation above and beyond overtime pay? Our controller seems to think this would be akin to holiday pay - the business is normally not open, therefore treat it like a holiday when our business is not normally open - which would mean doubletime.

I checked Texas statutes and couldn't find anything definitive.

Anyone done this before?
