city of houston nailed for 5million plus

in a case important to all public employers the court of appeals covering texas,miss,and la just said that emts are NOT exempt from the flsa's overtime provisions...it's the vega case and was decided this monday...go to the fifth circuit's web site(go to yahoo and type in fifth circuit)and go to date released---the court said that the city was liable for 5 million plus and made its decision WITHOUT a trial...regards from dallas,mike maslanka,214-659-4668
