Exempt/Non-Exempt Short and Long Test

I have yet to find a short and long test that doesn't leave loop holes in it when deciding exemption status for all positions admin, exec, etc. Does anyone have one that they would like to share with me? My email address is [email]ppearson@deipro.com[/email]. Thanks for your help.

That's the government for you -- gives you a loop to go around your neck and a hole to set off into!! I believe the short and long test is DOL authored and there are not other versions, just interpretations of what it means. Please -- someone prove me wrong.

I think the last writer was correct. I think the list may be part of the FLSA. One workshop I attended said to stick with the short list only. That's a simple as you can make it.
