Contract Employee taking a 2nd job

I need some help, I have a contract employee that does not want to renew his morning contract with a organization I am working with, but want to keep his evening contract in effect. The reason he does not want to renew his morning contract is because he has obtain a 2nd job with one of our competitors. Can I terminate his current contract, with out any issues. I just started working with this organization, and his contract currently does not have any stipulations in it, but I presented a orientation to the members of the organization and it was covered in that orientation that before obtaining a 2nd job that you will need to consult with us before you do it because of conflict of interest. Some please let me know. Thanks.
