Overtime Exemptions and Computer Professionals

Last September California passed new rules for computer professionals regarding the overtime exemptions. I understand that minimum of $41 per hour has to be earned in order to qualify as exempt. I have found no evidence to show that any businesses are reacting to this new law and in fact are leaving their computer professionals as exempt when many are earning less than the $41 per hour. Has anyone taken any action to respond to the change in the exempt requirement?
