Sick Days in Puerto Rico

For those of you who have offices in Puerto Rico. I have a question regarding accrued sick days for non exempt employees. At termination, must these be paid out? I know they can be carried over to a maximum of 15 days but unsure if we have to payout.

The answer is that sick leave need not be paid out, according to Sylmarie Arizmendi, a Puerto Rico employment law attorney who conducted an audio event for us on "Doing Business in Puerto Rico." Here is her contact info. tk
