Health Self Funded Cancellation Notice

Does anyone know if there is a standard requirement for giving notice to participants in a self funded Health Insurance plan that you are wanting to cancel? If so, how much notice? Thanks

I believe ERISA mandates what needs to be done in most cases. ERISA is a federal law so you want to check state laws too.

If you are planning on canceling your health plan I would contact a competent benefits attorney.
