I have a friend who is pregnant and expected to deliver in Mar 06. She is about to accept a new position, and this company offers STD. She asked me if the company can deny her STD when she has her baby because she was pregnant before she accepted the position. Can STD be denied to a pregnant person or anyone for that matter who wants to take STD for something that occurred prior to employment?
