I Need to Set Up a POP Account

I work in Alabama and would like to set up a POP (Premium Only Plan)account for my hourly employees. We have around 150 employees.

Does anyone have someone they would recommend to help set this up? How much does it generally cost?

I realize this is fairly straight forward, but want to do things correct.

We have a POP account for our employees. It is set up through our health insurance carrier. Since we are a customer of theirs they charge us a flat yearly fee of $400. If we did not have our health coverage through them they would charge the yearly fee plus a per month, per head charge. Our health coverage and POP account is through Medical Mutual of Ohio.

A POP (Premium Only Plan) is where contributions you pay towards your health insurance coverage is pre-tax dollars.

Sometimes referred to as 'Section 125.' You can find lots of one-day classes for administration of these plans. It's important that you or someone in finance knows the system well even if it is administered by your group health carrier.
