Has anyone had experience with Coventry Health Care? I had never heard of them before, but looks like they offer insurance in Delaware, Maryland,Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisianna and Nebraska. Please let me know your opinion on their health care coverage.

    Hellow, Rainbow. I looked at Coventry two years in a row. The quotes were extremely high; not even competitive. The plan was similar to what we currently have, but the rates were way too high. Usually the 'buy in' rates are unbelievably low just to get the account. If you have a P.O.P., I believe they administer the plan for free. Have you gotten any others?

    I am trying to remember who they used to be about 5 or 6 years ago!! (Ask them who they were previously and it might ring a bell for you.) Anyway, my old company had our group insurance through them and I really liked them. They were very customer service oriented. I belive there were some questions with claims, but I remember that being out employees problem not understanding their coverage. (We offered an HMO and also a PPO. Employees had to choose each year. Most employees were in HMO and most Managers in PPO.)
