HIPAA Info?

Anyone know of a good resource for info on HIPAA compliance? My budget is limited, so cheap or free is important. I'm in month two of being the first & only HR for my new company & we are no where near compliant. Any ideas? Thanks!

You can also check with your health insurance company. They should be albe to help you a bunch with this.

I've got a third party administrator that I asked for help (this is my first jaunt into the world of benefits admin). Her response? Look on our website, but really, all you need to have is a locked file cabinet. Even I know better than that. I intend to start shopping for a new TPA.

Try HIPAAnow.com. Basically, if you are fully insured there is very little you have to do. If your self-insured, though, better role up your sleeves! We are fully insured so this product worked great for us and only cost about $300.
