NC PPOs ??????

We have an office in Asheville, NC and need to find a good Preferred Provider Organization that contains alot of physicians, etc. We are currently using Beechstreet but they are VERY limited when it comes to providers in their network in the Asheville, NC area.

Anyone with health insurance in NC -- what PPO are you using?

    why not use a national carrier with a network in Ashville? Aetna, Cigna, all have national plans or contact your broker and let them do the search and plan design.

    I could write you a book on the network scene in AVL. Our plant is in AVL, and I spent the last two years dealing with this crap. It is the most screwed up area in the country. Mountain Health Care, the main network in the area, was just shut down by the justice dept. I do not suggest going with a large carrier. I'm going to send you a private email with my phone number.
