How do you address the EIB waiting period before EIB hours are paid in the case of an intermittent illness/condition, where the employee returns after satisfying the waiting period and then is out again for the same condition within 30 days or some other period.

It would appear to me that most if not all of your questions should be answered in your policies concerning your EIB. If you have out-sourced this or using a TPA, they might be able to give you guidance. Without having that informaion, I don't believe anyone will be able to give you a definitive answer.

Sorry for the confusion. My question was mainly directed toward inquiring about current practices being utilized toward handling this situation.
