Part time benefit accrual

Good Afternoon and Season's Greetings!

We are in the process of reclassifying several employees from a full time position with full benefits, to that of a qualified part time position but would like to keep their benefits (ie..vacation, sick time, etc) the same. The fly in the ointment is we already have 2 employees in the qualified part time position that earn benefits based on the policy for that position. The qualified position earns a small portion of the full time benefits package. Question: can we do this move and keep the moved ee's benefits the same and secondly do we have to offer the same benefits to the 2 already existing ees? I think I know the answer, but would like another opinion. I need the answer asap, please!!!
