With Christmas and New Year's falling on Saturdays for 12/25/04 & 1/1/05, when are people recognizing the holiday...Friday 12/24/04 & 12/31/04 or Monday 12/27/04 & 1/3/05?

We normally celebrate both Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day and New Years Eve Day and New Years Day. We will pay holiday pay for Thursday, December 23 and Friday, December 24, 2004 and Thursday, December 30 and Friday, December 31, 2004.

Friday for both (for departments that operate on a Monday through Friday schedule).

We're doing Friday, December 24 for the Christmas Day holiday (Christmas Eve is not a paid holiday for us), and Monday, January 3, 2005 for the New Years Day holiday (celebrating New Years Day on Friday, December 31 would give us one more paid holiday in 2004 than company policy states).

We're taking off 12/25 & 12/26/03 for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day holidays. The following week we are off 1/1 and 1/2/04 for New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. We like to rearrange things to give our employees long weekends whenever possible.
