Part Time or Full Time?

We are located in the State of Missouri and we have a staff of 30 full time people. Full time (according to our Policy and Procedures) is considered 37.5 hours and they are eligible for medical benefits. Currently we do not give part time employees medical benefits. We have one lady who wants to work up to only 36 hours. Is'nt she still considered part time since she does not work 37.5 hours? Are we legally bound to give her medical benefits as we do our full time employee? Thank You. Mrs. Johnson
