Those of you with 457 plans: Unfortunately, our plan administrator's 800 number apparently gave one of our employees the advice that you can now withdraw funds from the 457 plan without the need to document an unforeseeable emergency. Now, of course, she thinks that is the status of the law, and I'm just being difficult. We haven't amended our plan to allow such withdrawals without documentation. Anyone know the status of the law on this?
