CA Benefits after termination

I am looking for the documentation that states in CA that when an associate terms, their health insurance (if in a plan) is continued for the month in which they termed and not on their termination date. I have tried to search the on-line sources for this with no results. I need to provide documentation to our benefit people as this is different than in other states. Any referrals will be most appreciated.

I think that what you are looking for is the insurance plan itself. Ours states that insurance terminates at the end of the month in which the employee terminates. Yours may or may not be different. There is no state law in this regard.

Call your insurance company. The employer assistance department should be able to tell you exactly what your policy states.
