Calling hi-tech companies

Do most hi-tech companies shut down their operations for the Christmas holidays? We are evaluating whether to keep it or not.

We are not hi-tech, but we are closing Monday and Tuesday for both Christmas and New Years.

I'm sorry - I wasn't clear - we currrently shut down for the entire week, not just 2 days.
