can I re-certify?

Employee was admitted to hospital at the end of July. FMLA paperwork was sent and doctor said employee was unable to work for a week. The doctor also indicated the employee would need intense outpatient treatment three times/week for the next 4--5 weeks. I approved the week of leave plus the intermittent leave until the beginning of September. This morning I received a message that the employee is back in the hospital.
Even though 30 days have not passed can I re-certify for this leave since the circumstances have changed and she is hospitalized again? Thanks.
