Biz getting close to 50

I am an HR rookie and our small company is getting close to qualifying for the 50 employee threshold. Does the "50 employees for 20 weeks" include part-time employees? Seasonal? Is this the only criteria I need to watch for becoming a covered company? What other issues do I need to be aware of at the 50 employee threshold? THANK YOU!
