Intermittent FMLA Certification

Do any of you have problems getting specific guidelines from doctors in regards to how much time we can expect an employee to miss for intermittent FMLA?
When we ask employees to re-certify for intermittent FMLA we are now attaching a time card report of FMLA absences to the paperwork so the physician can better understand how much time the employee has been taking for FMLA. As all of you know, doctors can be very vague at times as to how much time we can expect an employee to miss for certain conditions such as asthma, migraine headaches, etc. We are hoping this will help the doctor's understand that we need more specific details in their certification as to how much time off is reasonable.
Can you think of anything else that might help?
