FMLA and Doctor's Appts.

I have an EE whose spouse has a serious health condition (he is in a nursing home). In the past her FMLA paperwork has been very vague with regard to the type of "care" that was required for him and has often used the "last minute" call in FMLA option (she has intermittent leave).
This year she is requesting leave specifically for taking him to medical, dental and legal appointments that cannot be scheduled after 3:00pm. This is the first time she has been that specific so I would like to require that her FMLA requests be scheduled in advance and that any "last minute" FMLA time be supported by additional medical documentation.
Does anyone see a problem with this?

Anyone for a foursome? I have an 11:00 tee time (just kidding - but it will hit 56 degrees today, that's warm enough to play.
