I am trying to determine whether or not our company is required to provide FMLA to our employees. We are a heating and cooling company with currently 5 employees. The way I have read the laws it states you need to have 50 emoloyees with in a 75 miles range. I am assuming since we are so small that FMLA does not apply to us. Can anyone tell me if I am correct?

If your company has only 5 employees, you are correct.

You do not meet the requirements for FMLA, but check your state laws to see if there is a state specific law that you may be required to recognize.
