EE's FMLA certification is to take care of mom with chronic conditions. It gives diagnosis of condition and states "yes!" in 8.a. "If leave is required to care for family member...does patient require assistance....".
She brought in a doctor's note from the ER that states she was in the ER with mom Sunday night from 11:30 pm to 12:15 am. She called off the following Monday for the entire shift (12 hrs.) She worked today. When she gave the admin coordinator the note she did not give any details.
What would you do? Would her absence qualify? She is due a verbal warning if the absence is not covered.
BTW, is everyone on vacation? The forum has been quite BORING recently. It's time to get Alum boy back.

Some of the usual pot stirrers seem to be laying low, maybe they're just tired! They have had a few very intense threads lately.

I'd love to know what ER can get you in and out in 45 minutes! Usually that's just enough time to fill out the paperwork.
Alumboy is a figment of Mace's imagination.
