FMLA or any other leave for mother of stillborn baby?

I know no employer hopes to address this issue, but does anyone have experience with this type of scenario?
I understand that this employee would have to prove that there is a Serious Health Condition for FMLA, but would this also include any emotional issues that may arise as a result of this? Could this potentially fall under FMLA as well? What about any other types of leaves? Is there anything else available for an employee in this situation other than the company's bereavement leave or a personal, unpaid leave of absence?
If anyone has had experience with this type of situation, please let me konw.
Thanks.

However, unless the employee can get certified, FMLA does not give time off for the death.
Good Luck!
