Employee Performance Management/Talent Management Software

We are currently evaluating vendors that provide software to automate the performance evaluation process, goal setting/tracking and succession planning. We are looking at vendors like SuccessFactors, Halogen, HRsmart etc.

Do any of you use these this kind of software. Are there any products you are particularly happy with and would recommend? Any words of wisdom as we select a vendor?

We are currently using an ADP software called Employease and it helps us to easily and effectively track both performance and talent, among other important employee data management. Good luck finding what works for you.

Tere, is that ADP product fairly new? I tried an ADP product for managing employees and found it difficult to use. It felt like something written by payroll types for HR types.

ADP Employease is fairly new. We purchased the software a couple of years ago. Although we found a couple of glitches on it over time, it generally works very well for us. It also serves as an employee and manager self service system which has helped us to significantly cut down on paper. It's definitely worth looking into. Let me know if you'd like a phone number.
