Does your organization offer recruitment incentives to employees who recruit an applicant
and the applicant is subsequently hired? If so, what is the form of the incentive and the
requirements? (financial compensation, additional leave time, etc.; is the new employee
to successfully complete the probation period before the incentive is received)?

Staff referring someone who is hired receives $100 bonus. If the new staff member hired is still employed a year later, the staff member making the referral receives an additional $400. This program is for all positions.
Some years, turnover of referred staff is much less than other hired staff. Other years, it's about the same. Overall, we've been happy with the program.

We just started this program last year and it has worked very well for us. Previously we gave a $100 referral bonus after ee completed the introductory period. Then we entered all ee's who had received a referral bonus into a drawing for $1000.00.
We had very little interest in that program. Our people would rather have the cash in hand than the chance to win more.
