What holidays are employers in NY mandated to give and pay the employee?

I would check with the NY DOL or Workforce Commission - here in TX we're not mandated to give any holidays, but its on a state by state basis.

None. As an example, most stores are open on holidays and it is a regular scheduled workday for their employees. But, do a search on NY department of labor.
