Manufacturing Procedures

Does anyone here use a good template for creating written Standard Operating Procedures for a manufacturing operation? I realize that this subject is not something that usually floats in HR waters, but someone here may have some maufacturing experience or may be aware of something their own people use. If so, I could use your help. Thanks.

Hi, LarryC! Our company is ISO9001 certified, so we have operating procedures on every task that's done in manufacturing. Basically the tasks are outlined with:
*Purpose
*Scope
*References (usually to ISO Manual)
*Input (i.e. materials used in process)
*Process (Lists what position is responsible for each activity)
*Output (describe the finished product)

This way our products are manufactured the same way each and every time, with proper training of employees.
