Can you be more specific? If you're talking about a "temporary layoff", contact your state unemployment office and ask about Partial Benefits. Otherwise, without specifics, its hard to point you in the right direction.

Forgive me if I am being too paranoid. This person appears to be posting from an organization called Medical Research Consultants.

According to their website:

"Medical Research Consultants has served as strategic litigation partner to clients in the legal, medical, pharmaceutical, insurance and manufacturing industries since 1983"

This appears to be about as fishy as the lawyer that The Forumite Formerly Known As Don and I caught back a few months ago trying to infiltrate our ranks.
