Safety Articles for Employee Newsletter

Does anyone know of a reliable, FREE source for safety info? We want to include a "Caution Corner" in a monthly employee newsletter but no one has time to research and write an article that often. We have no budget and are looking for something from a paragraph to a half-page, written in layman's language. Right now I'm trying to edit things from the OSHA and State website but I'd love to find something more ready-to-use.

Yes. J.J. Keller and Associates, in an attempt to get you to purchase products, will send you an email on a monthly basis with safety tips and reminders that you can download, print and post or use in meetings. I participated in one of their week-long seminars and get tons of stuff from them, unsolicited. You can sign up for this by 'finding' their website using their Co. name.

Our Workers' comp carrier will send tons of them. You can also use the OSHA handbook.

toolboxtopics.gov has a long list of short training articles that can be easily adapted to newspaper use. They're free and there is a good variety of subjects.
