With new handbook coming out can add to our FML
(I know, wrong site but thought I would get more hits here, forgive me please)can we now require ALL intermittent visits to bring in a slip from physician to prove visit. We haven't done this in the past but thought if it were required for all intermittent uses we could. It is those few bad apples that make you want to have to proof. Tried of ees working the system. Your input is greatly appreciated.

For example; if the intermittent agreement is based on the doctor's statement that Susan must periodically return to the clinic for followup, and you would require a medical excuse for someone NOT on FMLA, then you can do it. But it is illegal to establish that practice just for employees approved for intermittent leave.
