Special Request

I hope one of you guys, especially union people, can help steer me in the right direction. Individual works in a small rural post office. Employee and others in the office have been constantly shortchanged in their hours, not being compensated properly, failed to be paid for their travel time appropriately, and the list goes on. The bottom line is: Where does this person go to complain against unfair labor practices against the postal service.

One instance carrier has been shortchanged nearly a year and has called it to the attention of the last three postmasters. Finally, the main office stated the "carrier" waited too long to bring it to their attention and thus, would not be reimbursed for "back pay."

Bottom line is: this person wants to know who to contact to initiate an investigation of the practices of this particular post office so the carriers can be adequately compensated.

I'm clueless when it comes to governmental agencies, so I am hoping some of you can help me here!

Thanks!
