flsa defined

I have a question regarding the interpretation of FLSA as it pertains to exempt employees. I think that I should have the ability to deduct pay from an exempt if they exceed the company allocated vacation days. I dont mind giving an exempt more company paid sick days if needed, but I don't want to give someone extra paid vacations days or personal time off days just cause the are exempt. And according to an interpretaion of FLSA that is what could happen. Your thoughts?
