KS Faithless Servant

Anyone heard of this statute/law??? I've got a co-worker who keeps throwing this phrase around & I've not been able to find anything about it on-line. I'd like to see if I can find something about it on my own before I own up to my ignorance. Can any of my KS forumites help?

I have heard of the Faithless Servant Doctrine. It is usually intrepreted to mean that someone, usually with some sort of fiduciary duty, is not entitled to gain or be compensated from breaching that trust (or faith, as the term implies). I think there's also a duty to forfeit any monies (or whatever) were gained as a result of the breach.

I have never heard it being referred to it strictly as the KS or any other state.

My wife refers to me as her 'Faithful Servant', but I imagine that's entirely something else.

A google search will give you tons of results explaining several aspects of the doctrine. It also refers to Partners (or Agents) Compensation and the need for disclosure.

As a KS forumite, I agree with the above - I've heard of the doctrine in general, but nothing specific to Kansas statute/law.

Maybe your co-worker has learned a new phrase & just likes to overuse it!
