Personnel Record Retention?

Can anyone out there suggest a good site where I can find correct retention periods for various personnel records?
The periods I have found are:
Accident reports - 11 years
Affirmative Action Plans - no specified period
Medical Records - 30 years?!
Applications - 1 year
EEO - 1 year
Employment advertisements - 1 year
FMLA - 3 years
I-9 - 3 years after employment/1 yr after term.
HIPAA 6 years
What about:
- Disciplinary records
- Re-hires - can I shred all of the old when they start over?
- Licenses - again, can I shred the old when they re-new their licenses
Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

It is an article entitled "When can you clean out personnel files?" and has a checklist of each law and its requirements.
I am still not real clear on when to shred former employees' files. I think 3 years would be safe, although 1 year might also be safe.?????????
I would be interested in someone else's opinion.
