DOCUMENTATION SOFTWARE AVAILABLE?

Hello,
Does anyone know of software to help create documentation? I heard there is something that allows supervisors to pick "key words" to create documentation. Does anyone use anything like this?

I've never heard of anything like this sort of software. But if anyone knows about it and MOST importantly if they know about and it works I'd also be interested.
