Okay...correct me if I am wrong...there is a difference between a NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES and a POLICIES FOR PROTECTION OF THE PRIVACY OF PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION?
As I under stand it the NOTICE of privacy practices is a notice distributed to employees enrolled in group health plans which is part of the company's POLICIES for protection.
okay..I guess my quesiton is ...do I need a Policies for Protection if so where is it kept, do employees ever get an entire copy of the privacy policies? I have posted somthing similar to this before and since then a few people have shared some good information with me but now I am a bit confused ....if you cant tell.
I have already drafted a Notice of Privacy Practices and sent to our legal friends for review
